Description
The Origami dripper works with both cone and wave-style filters, and these are Origami’s own wave filters, made specifically for it. The folds are shallow enough to line up with the dripper’s 20 ribs, so the paper sits snug against the walls and water moves through the coffee instead of slipping down the sides.
Because a wave filter has a flat bottom, the grounds settle into a shallower, more even bed than they do in a cone. Water passes through faster and extracts the top and bottom of the bed more evenly, which tends to give a sweeter, rounder cup with more body. If you usually brew with cone filters, these are an easy way to get a different cup out of the same beans.
The filters are pressed in small batches, so they’re consistent sheet to sheet and don’t show up wrinkled or creased.
Note: these are sized for the M (2-4 cup) Origami dripper, including the Origami Air M. They won’t fit the S dripper.
