This coffee hails from Adugna ber, located in the Guji Zone, Oromia Region, a prime coffee-growing region in Ethiopia. The area’s fertile volcanic soil, ample rainfall, and high elevation make it ideal for producing high-quality specialty coffee. The region has a subtropical highland climate, characterized by distinct wet and dry seasons. Farmers depend on natural springs and seasonal streams for coffee processing.
Adugna ber’s coffee farms range from 1,900 to 2,200 MASL. The high altitude leads to slow cherry maturation, resulting in dense coffee beans with a complex and balanced flavor profile. The coffee varieties cultivated in Adugna ber are known for their heirloom Ethiopian selections, known for their resilience and exceptional quality.
