Description
We bought this before we finished tasting it.
This Wush Wush from La Esmeralda Negra in Santuario, Risaralda is the coffee that made us immediately pick up the phone. The smell of the strawberry notes during roasting were enough to know we wanted more, but tasting it sealed the deal.
It grows at 1900 metres and goes through anaerobic fermentation twice, first in cherry then after pulping. What comes out is raspberry, strawberry, peach and white chocolate notes. All in one coffee.
Raspberry | Strawberry | Peach | White Chocolate
Wush Wush is hard to grow and even harder to process well. Most attempts don’t work. This one does, which is why we keep coming back to it. It’s become our go-to when someone asks what we’re drinking ourselves.
Give it a try.
